Our journey began with a groundbreaking installation - the first Solar Photovoltaic system on a BP service station in Bedford. This marked a significant turning point, as BP emerged as a trailblazer, evolving into the single largest generator of Solar PV electricity in the entire UK.

Landmark Projects and Visionary Initiatives
Over the years, Solar Green has had the privilege of contributing to several landmark projects. Notably, in 2002, we partnered with Woking Borough Council on a visionary program, achieving an 80% reduction in carbon emissions through the implementation of Low and Zero Carbon energy generation. This initiative saw Solar Green installing over 400kW of Solar PV for Woking, making it the single largest installation of PV on housing in the UK. Our commitment continued with projects like the Suffolk County Council's headquarters in 2004, incorporating the largest Building Integrated Solar Energy system.
